The collective exhibition Pillow Fighters reclaimed softness, intimacy, and care as radical, embodied forms of resistance. In a world shaped by demands for toughness, productivity, and performance, the exhibition foregrounded the power of tenderness.

Queer romanticism was presented not as a contradiction, but as resistance. Feminism appeared not as a doctrine, but as a practice of unruly care, collective repair, and interdependence. Art was positioned not as neutral, but as an active tool for unsettling colonial narratives and for shaping new vocabularies.

Unfolding like a slow riot, stitched, tangled, and deliberately unfinished, Pillow Fighters brought together sculpture, fabric, gesture, voice, and movement. It asked: What happens when play is taken seriously? If touch becomes a language? If care refuses to remain quiet or contained?

The exhibition transformed the gallery into a space of radical softness, where play became serious, vulnerability became strength, and care emerged as a public gesture. It invited visitors to imagine forms of relating that move beyond binaries of hard and soft, strength and fragility, insisting on tenderness not as retreat, but as a mode of resistance.

The exhibition included a rich program of performances, workshops, collective dinners, and finally, a Pillow Fight inside the gallery.
